Why process pages used to sound the same
The archived Our Cleaning Process copy on this domain was written for Chem-Dry On The Coast. It borrowed club-soda metaphors and “The Natural” product names. Those pages still teach a fair idea — carbonation can lift soil with less water — but they also sold a franchise identity we no longer claim. This rebuild keeps the sequence and drops the brand.
What actually happens
Most residential jobs are a conversation about soil type, then a physical pass. Sand from the beach behaves differently from clay from a hinterland yard. Red wine on a pale nylon is not the same as grease in a rental kitchen. If you are comparing methods, start with carbonation versus steam. Dry soil comes out first. Skirting, vents and nearby timber get a simple protect-and-note, not a theatrical wrap.

Low-moisture carbonation, controlled hot-water extraction, or a hybrid. The goal is soil out, residue low, moisture managed.

Dry and aftercare
Fans, HVAC, and “stay off until cool-dry” beats walking wet fibres flat. We do not quote a single magic hour for every house.
Dry times on a humid coast
Archive pages said carpets dry in one to two hours, versus one to two days for sloppy steam. The direction is right: less leftover water usually means faster walk-on times. The absolute numbers are not a contract. A closed apartment with no airflow in February can outlast a breezy Burleigh house in July. Commercial timing

How long until carpets dry?+
Low-moisture work is often walkable in a few hours; heavily wet steam or flood extraction can take overnight or longer. Humidity on the Gold Coast stretches every estimate. Airflow matters more than a branded promise.
Do I need to move furniture?+
Light items are usually shifted; anything over a safe lift limit, built-in, or packed with breakables stays put. The more floor you clear, the more fibre actually gets cleaned.
